The Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled a proposed ₹25,000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bengaluru-based startup Puch AI for developing artificial intelligence infrastructure in the state.

The decision was made after a review revealed the company lacked the necessary net worth and financial credibility to execute the project.

The government stated that the agreement stands cancelled with immediate effect and no rights or obligations remain between the parties.

The move was taken in the interest of transparency and maintaining high standards of probity in governance.
