UP Man Caught Impersonating in Home Guard Exam, Arrested

A young man from Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district has been arrested for impersonating another candidate in the Home Guard Enrollment Examination 2025 in Bareilly.

The accused, identified as 27-year-old Anurag, was caught during the biometric verification process at Sahu Gopinath Kanya Inter College.

Further investigation revealed that Anurag had also taken the first-shift examination at Darbari Lal Sharma Inter College on the previous day, impersonating another candidate named Dharmendra Singh.

Anurag admitted to having committed the act during interrogation and has been arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
