Anuj Agnihotri, the Union Public Service Commission's Civil Services Main Exam 2025 topper, expressed his shock and gratitude upon hearing the news. This was his third attempt at the exam.
A graduate of AIIMS Jodhpur, Agnihotri is currently a probationer in the DANICS service. He had cleared the Union Territories Civil Services (UTCS) exam in his first attempt in 2023 and is undergoing probation as an SDM in Delhi.
A total of 958 candidates have qualified for the examination and are recommended for appointment to different central civil services. The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages, including a preliminary, main, and interview by the UPSC.
The main examination was held from August 22 to August 31, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for the Civil Services personality round can check the merit list through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
