Ahead of the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest in Delhi, the government was asked about the outfit's founder Abhijeet Dipke's India arrival. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said they had no information on Dipke's deportation or visa misuse.

The MEA also revealed that 1,076 Indian nationals have been deported from the US in 2026 so far, with 3,567 last year.

Discussions on migration and mobility are underway between the two sides, focusing on curbing illegal migration without affecting legal migration.

Abhijeet Dipke, the CJP founder, had expressed fear of arrest upon arrival in Delhi, but his family clarified they received no threats.

The CJP, a satirical outfit, is set for its first large-scale gathering in Delhi to seek the resignation of education minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam controversies.
