Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has hit back at Rahul Gandhi for targeting the ruling CPI(M) over the Sabarimala gold loss case.
Vijayan questioned how the accused in the case had managed to reach the Congress leader's home, referring to a photograph of Unnikrishnan Potty, the prime accused, with Sonia Gandhi at her residence in Delhi.
The CM's reaction came a day after Rahul sang a line from a parody song about CPI(M) leaders' alleged roles in the gold theft at the Sabarimala temple during an assembly polls campaign in Pathanamthitta district.
Rahul had targeted the Left party over the gold loss issue, prompting CPI (M) activists to launch a social media campaign against his mother and former party chief Sonia Gandhi.
Vijayan said the Congress leader had already received a befitting reply and should not repeat the same.
