West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that 35 more ministers will be sworn in on Monday at Lok Bhawan. The new cabinet will include prominent MLAs such as Shankar Ghosh, Sharadwat Mukherjee, and Tapas Roy.

Adhikari and five ministers took oath on May 9 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries.

The new cabinet will see several departments being headed by new ministers, including health, which will be led by an 'efficient doctor' to 'salvage it from the chaos of the TMC era.'

Other notable ministers include Agnimitra Paul, who heads the municipal affairs and urban development department, and Dilip Ghosh, who is in charge of panchayat and rural development.

The BJP won 207 seats in the two-phase elections, while the TMC secured 80 seats.
