Violence broke out in West Bengal's Murshidabad district on Friday during Ram Navami processions, with incidents of stone-pelting, vandalism, and arson reported.

The clashes began after an argument over music being played during a procession in Raghunathganj, which escalated into a clash between participants and locals.

At least 12 people have been arrested, and prohibitory orders have been imposed in Raghunathganj town to maintain law and order.
