A chilling murder in Bengaluru has left investigators stunned, with a 27-year-old woman allegedly setting her boyfriend ablaze in a pre-planned act.
The incident unfolded on Tuesday at around 10 am at the woman's house, when she restrained her partner, poured petrol over him, and set him on fire.
Police say tensions had been building in the relationship, with the woman upset over her partner ignoring her and refusing to marry.
CCTV footage and preliminary findings revealed that the petrol was arranged in advance, pointing to premeditation.
The accused woman has been taken into custody and questioned, with officials saying it has been established that she set her partner on fire.
