Young Lives Lost: Indore Road Accident Claims MP MLA's Daughter and Congress Leader's Son

A devastating road accident in Indore has claimed the lives of three young individuals, including the daughter of Madhya Pradesh MLA and former home minister Bala Bachchan and the son of state Congress spokesperson Anand Kasliwal. The tragedy occurred on Friday morning when the car, carrying four passengers, collided with a truck near the Ralamandal area on the Tejaji Nagar bypass. According to police, the driver, Prakhar Kasliwal, was behind the wheel and was reportedly under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place. Prakhar, his friend Mansindhu, and Prerna Bachchan, who was preparing for the civil services examinations, were killed on the spot. Another passenger, Anushka Rathi, sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment at a local hospital. The group had been returning from a birthday celebration in Mhow when the accident occurred. The truck driver is currently in police custody, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident. Senior Congress leaders, including former chief minister Kamal Nath and Madhya Pradesh Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, have condoled the demise of Prerna Bachchan and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and the family is still grappling with the loss of their loved one.
