Indo-British golfer Aaron Rai had an electric start at the 90th Masters but ended the day with a score of 1-under 71 to be placed Tied-10th.
He was four shots behind co-leaders, defending champion Rory McIlroy and Sam Burns, who shot 5-under 67 each.
Indian-American Akshay Bhatia had three bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine in his 1-over 73, placing him Tied-33rd.
McIlroy and Burns shared the lead after a fine stretch through Amen Corner, with Burns adding another birdie at the par-5 15th to seize the outright lead.
However, his sole lead didn't hold for long, as McIlroy matched Burns' 67, despite struggling off the tee and hitting just five fairways.
