The Denver Nuggets' broadcast team is undergoing significant changes as Altitude TV has decided not to renew contracts for longtime broadcasters Chris Marlowe and Scott Hastings, according to multiple sources.

Marlowe, who had been calling Nuggets games for Altitude since 2004, confirmed the news on social media, stating that the network is moving in a different direction. He will continue to work in the sports industry, but not with Altitude TV.

Hastings, a color commentator for Nuggets and Broncos local broadcasts since 1993, will also be leaving the network. However, he will remain co-host of a sports talk show on Altitude's radio station.

Studio analyst and reporter Chris Dempsey was also let go, according to sources. The reasons behind the departures are unclear, but viewer feedback may have played a role. The Nuggets' broadcast booth was ranked near the bottom of the league in a recent poll, with some viewers criticizing Hastings' candor and Marlowe's high-energy style.

Katy Winge, who has been retained by Altitude TV, drew consistent praise in the poll and is expected to play a bigger role in the network's broadcasts.
