Arsenal reached the Champions League semi-finals after a goalless draw against Sporting Lisbon, securing a 1-0 aggregate victory on Wednesday.
The Gunners, who were below their best, held onto their slender first-leg advantage as Sporting failed to capitalize on their chances.
Arsenal will face Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals, having previously beaten them 4-0 in the group stage.
However, they will need to improve significantly to reach the final for the first time since 2006.
Arsenal have reached the Champions League semi-finals in consecutive seasons for the first time in their history, but recent performances have raised concerns about their character and quality.
