Asian Games 2026 Day 6: India closed Day 6 of the Asian Games with stirring silver in the mixed 4*400m relay, as Vithya Ramraj produced a super anchor leg to cap a productive day. Roshibina Devi had earlier won silver in wushu, while Satnam Singh and Salman Khan claimed rowing bronze and Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal added another in mixed skeet. Seema Kumari then delivered India's first athletics medal of the Games with bronze in women's 10,000m. India also thashed South Korea 8-2 in men's hockey, while women's kabaddi team reached the semifinals to assure another medal. There were agonising near-misses too, with Asha Ilango finishing fourth in triple jump on countback, while boxing brought heartbreak for Sakshi Chaudhary and Sumit. Pranati Nayak finished sixth in the women's vault final.
