It was a good day in track and field for the Indian contingent, and athletics brought several medals on Day 10 at the Asian Games. Yash Vir Singh and Rohit Yadav won silver and bronze in men's javelin throw, while Murali Sreeshankar clinched silver in the men's long jump event. Gulveer Singh also won his second silver medal of the 2026 Asian Games after finishing second in the men's 1500m final. He had previously won silver in the men's 10,000m event as well.On Day 10 of the competition, Esha Singh narrowly missed out on gold in the women's 25m pistol individual final after coming up short in the shoot-off for gold.
