The English football team has been hit by a shocking theft of their training equipment ahead of their FIFA World Cup 2026 opener against Croatia.

The equipment, including balls and boots, was stolen from vehicles carrying it to the team's base in Kansas City, Swope Soccer Village.

Police have arrested two people in connection with the theft, which could disrupt Thomas Tuchel's preparations for the World Cup opener.
