The DLF Golf and Country Club course is set to host the Hero Indian Open, with a field of 138 players, including top contenders like Eugenio Chacarra, Akshay Bhatia, and Francesco Molinari.
The course has undergone significant changes in the past two editions, with the weather turning from cool and wet to sun and rising temperature, affecting the greens.
Chacarra, who won the event last year, sees the change as a test for the field and likes the way the course is challenging the players.
Other notable players, including Akshay Bhatia, the highest-ranked player in the field, and Francesco Molinari, a single Major winner, will also be looking to make a statement this week.
Indian hopes, such as Shubhankar Sharma and Yuvraj Sandhu, will also be looking to bounce back from recent struggles and make a strong impression.
