Gurugram: The Hero Indian Open DP World Tour event has reached its final day with a thrilling 4-shot lead held by Eugenio Chacarra. The demanding DLF Golf and Country Club course has so far rewarded and punished the field equally.

Chacarra, the defending champion, shot a 70 on Saturday, his third under-par score in the tournament. He takes a 4-shot lead into the final day, a position that has led to victory in five of the last seven winners.

Chacarra can become the fourth back-to-back winner in Indian Open history. He will face stiff competition from MJ Daffue and Alex Fitzpatrick, who are tied second with even-par 72s.

Other notable players include Casey Jarvis, David Law, and Freddie Schott, who are tied for sixth, fourth, and tied fourth respectively.

Only three Indians made the cut, with Om Prakash Chouhan, Manoj, and Naveed Kshitij Kaul finishing at T20, T54, and T63 respectively.
