Withdrawal would result in a ₹10 lakh fine, as per FIDE Regulations.
Anna Muzychuk of Ukraine could replace Humpy if she pulls out.
The tournament, scheduled to start at the end of this month, will feature top players including Zhu Jiner, Aleksandra Goryachkina, and Tan Zhongyi.
The winner will face reigning world champion Ju Wenjun.
