Ankita Raina and Vaishnavi Adkar led India to a thrilling 2-1 win over South Korea in the Billie Jean King Cup, securing the team's spot in the Asia/Oceania group.

Ankita, India's most experienced campaigner, fought hard against Dayeon Back, but ultimately lost 1-6, 5-7. However, Vaishnavi Adkar made up for it with an impressive performance, winning 7-6 (2), 7-6 (5) against Park So-hyun.

Ankita then paired with Rutuja Bhosale to win the doubles 6-2, 6-2, securing India's third spot in the round robin tournament.

India finished with three wins and two losses this week, retaining their spot in the Asia-Oceania group.
