NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani stole the show at the New York Knicks victory parade in New York City, giving a speech that left a lasting impression on the fans.

During his speech, Mamdani mentioned several forgotten Knicks' history and trivia, including the story of Toney Douglas, a former backup guard who became a pivotal player for the team in the 2010-11 season.

Douglas, who played all 82 games for the team that season despite a right shoulder injury, made a permanent place in the hearts of the Knicks fans who followed the 2010-11 season.

Mamdani's tribute to Douglas was acknowledged by his brother, Henry Douglas, a former NFL player, who shared a clip from Mamdani's speech along with a photo of Toney Douglas's Knicks jersey.
