Golfer Phil Mickelson is facing intense scrutiny following allegations of misconduct at his home club, The Farms Golf Club in California. The 55-year-old is already dealing with uncertainty in his golf career, compounded by the challenges facing LIV Golf and potential exclusion from the PGA Tour.
According to a report by Golf Digest, Mickelson was asked to vacate the club after allegations of nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact with a female employee emerged. The woman reportedly rejected his advances and reported the incident to her supervisors.
The incident has sparked a deeper investigation by the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, which may pursue further action if more evidence surfaces.
Meanwhile, Mickelson's family, including his wife Amy and their three children, Amanda, Sophia, and Evan, are also under the spotlight. Amy, a former Phoenix Suns cheerleader, has been a constant presence in her husband's life, accompanying him during golf tournaments and working with him on charitable causes.
The family has largely maintained a level of privacy, but their personal life has been affected by health concerns in the past. Amy was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, and Phil's mother also received a cancer diagnosis, although both have since recovered.
