The Delhi Golf Club Golden Members League 2026 concluded at the DGC grounds, with the Silver Bandits 2 emerging victorious in a thrilling playoff against Golden Bullets in the final round.
A rematch of the inaugural edition from 2025, the Silver Bandits team overcame their familiar foes in a tightly-fought contest that went to double-playoff and tiebreakers.
The match was played in a Fourball format, where two pairs of teammates faced off, carrying forward the better score of the pair on each hole.
The final match saw things tied up on three points each after six rounds of fourball matchplay, forcing a sudden-death between Madhu Misra and Achal Nath of the Golden Bullets and JP Hundal and BP Ojha of the Bandits team.
The first playoff hole was tied up at par, forcing a second sudden-death playoff, with the decisive shot coming down to Mr. Nath, who missed a three-foot putt, ultimately securing the trophy for the Silver Bandits 2.
The prize presentation ceremony saw all participants felicitated for their fine showing, with speakers including President of the DGC, Mr. Raj Nath Khosla, and Captain Vikram Seth.
