Coors Field was transformed into a winter wonderland on Friday as heavy snow covered the stadium ahead of the Los Angeles Dodgers' four-game series against the Colorado Rockies.
The entire ballpark was covered in snow by Friday afternoon, a stark contrast to the warm weather the Dodgers are accustomed to in California.
Despite the unusual conditions, some Dodgers players, including pitcher Emmet Sheehan, enjoyed the moment, even building a snowman.
The game is still expected to go ahead, with the snow forecast to stop before the first pitch.
The Colorado Rockies were already clearing the outfield with a plow, and the ground staff covered the infield with a tarp to protect the dirt area.
At game time, the temperature is expected to be around 39 degrees, with winds of around 10 mph making it feel colder.
The Dodgers have experience playing in snow and cold weather in Denver, with past games showing they can handle it.
