Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida following a rollover car accident on Friday but is expected to be released after an eight-hour mandatory holding period. The golf icon was driving his Land Rover at high speed when he clipped a trailer, causing his vehicle to overturn.

Woods showed signs of impairment at the scene, prompting a DUI investigation, but a breathalyzer test revealed no alcohol in his system. He now faces misdemeanor charges, including DUI, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

Woods' girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, and her daughter were not in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Donald Trump, a longtime associate of Woods, expressed sympathy for the golfer, calling him an 'amazing person.'

This marks the second DUI-related case for Woods, who was also involved in a serious crash in 2021 that resulted in severe leg injuries. The 15-time major champion had recently returned to action, appearing in a TGL Finals match earlier this week.
