Tom Brady revealed he briefly explored returning to the NFL, but the league wasn't receptive to the idea. He initially retired in 2022, only to reverse his decision 40 days later and play one more season.

Speculation about another comeback intensified after his appearance at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, where he threw a touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.

The primary hurdle to any potential return lies in Brady's minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, which is prohibited by league rules introduced in 2023.

An NFL spokesperson said there is a possible way for Brady to return, but only if he gives up his ownership stake, which would also involve salary cap issues.
