Pele remains the benchmark for young World Cup winners, but three days into the 23rd tournament, some fresh faces have already made a name for themselves. Gilberto Mora, 17, and Ayyoub Bouaddi, 18, are among the young players who have caught attention with their impressive performances.

Mora, from Mexico, and Bouaddi, from Morocco, have shown their skills in different matches, with Mora scoring a goal in the Mexico-South Africa contest and Bouaddi bossing Casemiro and Bruno Guimaraes in midfield against Brazil.

Not to be outdone, Nestory Irankunda, 20, from Australia, scored a goal in just 17 seconds against Turkiye, showcasing his speed and agility. Luc de Fougerolles, 20, from Canada, has also impressed with his ball-carrying skills and leadership abilities.
