Javokhir Sindarov, a 20-year-old Uzbek chess sensation, has secured the World Championship challenger spot, setting up a historic match against reigning world champion D Gukesh later this year.

Sindarov's dominance in the Candidates tournament was complete, with the highest number of wins in the current format. He will face Gukesh in the youngest-ever World Championship match in history.
