Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma participated in the ‘Seva Jyoti’ programme held in Belonia, South Tripura, as part of a commemoration marking 25 years of public service and nation-building undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the programme, Minister Debbarma highlighted the importance of ‘Seva’ (service) as the central principle of public life. He said that the Prime Minister’s 25-year journey serves as an inspiration to work with dedication for the welfare of the people and the overall development of the country.
The Minister emphasised that the journey towards a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) must begin at the grassroots level. He said it is the collective responsibility of governments and public representatives to ensure that the benefits of development reach every village, family and citizen.
According to him, public service should not be limited to celebrations or programmes but should represent a continuous commitment to society. He called upon people to remain dedicated to creating opportunities, strengthening communities and contributing to national development.
