A review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies (RCS), Government of Tripura, to assess and strengthen the implementation of various schemes and initiatives of the Ministry of Cooperation, Government of India, at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by RCS officers from Tripura, representatives from all districts, officials of the Tripura State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (TSCB Ltd.), and other dignitaries.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the progress of ongoing cooperative sector schemes and initiatives being implemented across the state. Discussions focused on ensuring effective delivery of the programmes to beneficiaries at the grassroots level and improving coordination among the concerned departments, district-level authorities and cooperative institutions.
The Registrar of Cooperative Societies emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts, timely implementation and greater awareness among members of cooperative societies so that the benefits of the Ministry of Cooperation’s initiatives reach the intended beneficiaries.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to identify implementation challenges and discuss measures for improving the functioning of cooperative institutions across Tripura.
The review is expected to further strengthen the cooperative sector and enhance the reach and effectiveness of central government initiatives in the state.
