Met with officials from TREDA and Asian Development Bank (ADB), including Shri S.N. Jena, International Social Safeguard Consultant; Shri Shahank Dhyani, Project Support Specialist Consultant; and Shri Suraj Debbarma, Project Director, and held a discussion on the implementation of large-scale solar power projects across TTAADC villages under the vision of Village Solarization through the Transformation Renewable Acceleration in Tripura Program (TREAT). The discussion focused on expanding access to reliable and sustainable solar-powered electricity and water supply, which would significantly benefit rural communities across TTAADC. The initiative is proposed to begin as the first pilot project under the Village Solarization vision.
The meeting was attended by Hon'ble former TTAADC CEM Shri Purna Chandra Jamatia, Hon'ble former EM Shri Rajesh Tripura, and Hon'ble MDCs Shri Suraj Debbarma and Shri James Debbarma.
