TRIPURA, AGARTALA :

A workshop on the Integrated Health Management Information System (IHMIS) and the inauguration of West Tripura as the State Model District under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was held at Pragna Bhawan, Hall No. 1, marking a significant step towards strengthening digital healthcare in Tripura.

The programme was graced by Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IAS, Chief Executive Officer, National Health Authority, Government of India, as the chief guest. The event was also attended by Shri Kiran Gitte, IAS, Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura; Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav, IAS, Deputy Secretary, National Health Authority; Dr. Pankaj Kumar Arora, IRHS, Director, National Health Authority; Shri Saju Vaheed A., IAS, Additional Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department and Mission Director, National Health Mission, Tripura; and Dr. Vishal Kumar, IAS, District Magistrate & Collector, West Tripura.

The programme was hosted under the leadership of Dr. G. Sharath Nayak, IAS, State Mission Director, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Tripura.

The event highlighted Tripura's commitment to establishing a digitally integrated, efficient and citizen-centric healthcare ecosystem. The designation of West Tripura as the State Model District is expected to accelerate the implementation of digital health initiatives and demonstrate best practices for wider adoption across the state.
