Actor Avinash Tiwary is proud of his filmography, but he admits that one genre is missing - family entertainers. With his upcoming film Ginny Weds Sunny 2, he aims to fill that void. Reflecting on the reasons behind the lack of such films, he said that migrants in Mumbai have reduced the concept of joint families. He also added that high ticket prices and a shift towards individualistic perspectives have led to a decrease in family-friendly films.
Avinash recalled that the last film he watched with his family was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in 2023. He expressed his surprise that no family-friendly films have been released since then. He believes that making family films can be profitable, as one ticket can turn into six if the whole family comes to watch it.
