As questions surround Shedeur Sanders' future with the Cleveland Browns, his father Deion Sanders posted a cryptic message on X that caught attention. The post appeared to address the outside noise surrounding his son, without mentioning Shedeur or the trade rumors directly.
Deion Sanders' message read: 'Stop expecting folks to act like u would act & make the same decisions u would make if it were u. You're setting yourself up for disappointment. God made all of us different regardless of the home u grew up in. Allow them to be who they are. God got this. #CoachPrime.'
Despite the timing of the post, reports suggest that trade speculation has not turned into active talks. The Browns still have Shedeur on his rookie contract and have little reason to make a quick decision.
Longtime Browns reporter Mary Kay Cabot stated that the team is moving ahead with their planned quarterback competition, rather than making a trade a priority. She added that general manager Andrew Berry may be listening to calls from other teams, but a trade is not currently on the front burner.
