The highly anticipated track from Border 2, Ghar Kab Aaoge, has finally dropped. Composed by Mithoon with additional lyrics by Manoj Muntashir, the song features an ensemble of talented singers, including Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Roop Kumar Rathod, Vishal Mishra, and Diljit Dosanjh. The original, Sandese Aate Hai, composed by Anu Malik and sung by Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonu Nigam, remains an iconic classic. As the new track made its way to social media, fans and music enthusiasts shared their honest opinions. While some found the remake 'acceptable,' many felt that it fell short of the original's magic. However, many praised the song for successfully retaining the essence of the original while giving it a modern twist. Reactions to Ghar Kab Aaoge were mixed, with some users expressing their love for the song. One fan wrote, 'This is what we call an acceptable remake. Sonu Nigam's verse is pure magic.' Another user noted, 'Still getting goosebumps with this version. Timeless track.' However, not everyone was impressed. A second user commented, 'Song seems fine. Not as good as the original one. Honestly, don't think Vishal Mishra and Arijit Singh suit this song.' Another fan noted, 'I'm just so happy they didn't ruin it with extra loud or unnecessary sounds and bits.' The original Sandese Aate Hai, penned by Javed Akhtar, won the National Award in 1998. Manoj Muntashir has added new lyrics to the remake. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 boasts an ensemble cast, including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film, produced by T-Series and JP Dutta's J P Films, is set to release theatrically on January 23, 2026.
