Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie, Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups. In a recent podcast, she revealed how Ed Sheeran had watched her film Gangs of Wasseypur and praised it.
According to Huma, she met Ed Sheeran at Farah Khan's party and was surprised when he mentioned watching Gangs of Wasseypur. She then suggested he watch the film to learn more about India, and he ended up loving it, calling it 'such a cool film.'
Gangs of Wasseypur, directed by Anurag Kashyap, received widespread critical acclaim and won several awards, including the National Award for Best Audiography. The film features a star-studded cast, including Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Huma will next be seen in Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, a period gangster film directed by Geetu Mohandas and starring Yash in a dual role. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on June 4.
