Emily Blunt remains wary of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and has even avoided relying on it while filming a pivotal sequence in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming sci-fi thriller, Disclosure Day.

During an appearance on Hot Ones, Emily revealed that she chose a different approach to produce otherworldly sounds for her character, opting to record the sound organically instead of using AI.

She said, “I thought I could make some really strange sounds” and proceeded to record a range of weird sounds, including clicking, humming, consonant, and breathing sounds.

This is not the first time Emily has voiced concerns about artificial intelligence, having previously spoken out against the growing use of AI in the entertainment industry.

Disclosure Day marks Spielberg’s return to large-scale alien science fiction and follows characters caught in a UFO-related conspiracy as they try to expose the truth about extraterrestrial life.

The film is slated to release internationally on June 12 and also stars Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, and Wyatt Russell.
