The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has withdrawn its non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh in the ongoing Don 3 dispute. The decision comes after the intervention of the Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA), which called for a 'constructive and amicable resolution' in the matter.

The controversy began last month when FWICE issued the non-cooperation directive against Ranveer Singh over his exit from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, citing monetary losses of ₹45 crore. However, the film body has now announced that it will work with Ranveer and Excel Entertainment to resolve the issue.

Ashoke Pandit, President of the Indian Film and Television Directors' Association, stated that the dispute did not drag much and that FWICE is not blaming anyone. The decision to withdraw the non-cooperation directive was made after IMPPA intervened and appealed for a resolution in the larger interest of maintaining harmony and unity within the entertainment industry.
