Imran Khan Returns to Bollywood with Vir Das' Happy Patel: A Cameo Born Out of FOMO

After a decade-long hiatus, Imran Khan is set to make a comeback to the big screen with Vir Das' upcoming comedy film, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos. The actor revealed in an interview that his brief appearance in the film was a result of FOMO (fear of missing out) after seeing his friends, including Aamir Khan and Mithila Palkar, get attached to the project. Imran shared that he texted Vir Das after hearing about the film's development and being told about its fun and exciting concept. The actor's cameo in Happy Patel marks his first appearance on screen since 2015's Katti Batti. The film, directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri, is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and also features Aamir Khan in a cameo. Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos will release in theaters on January 16, alongside other notable actors like Mithila Palkar, Mona Singh, and Sharib Hashmi.
