Mumbai, Actress Kangana Ranaut has suggested that women actors can express their concerns about a scene if they feel it's not right, and directors are likely to agree that a group of men in a closed room might not have thought it through.

Ranaut's comments come in the wake of a controversy surrounding the objectification of women in cinema, sparked by scenes from the movie 'Peddi'.

According to Ranaut, filmmaking is about different perspectives coming together, and women can bring their unique viewpoint to the table.

She noted that directors often don't intend to objectify women and are open to feedback, saying, 'If you are working on a film, if you have accepted it, then it's like a collaboration.'

The controversy over 'Peddi' arose after audiences criticized the film for objectifying women through its camera work, dialogues, and romantic scenes.

The film's director, Buchi Babu Sana, apologized and agreed to alter the scenes following the uproar.
