In a heartfelt Instagram post, Bacon recalled the time he worked with Reiner on A Few Good Men, calling it 'one of the best experiences' of his career. He praised Reiner's warm and welcoming on-set atmosphere, saying that the director made everyone feel 'safe, pleasant, and fun.' Bacon also shared fond memories of having lunch with Reiner and his wife every day on set. He and his wife Kyra Sedgwick, who was pregnant at the time, would often join the couple. Bacon expressed his sadness over Reiner's passing, saying 'it was a magical time' and sending love to those who knew him. He captioned the post, 'Today is a sad one. Thank you for everything, Rob. May you and Michele rest in peace.'
