Music composer Palaash Muchhal has moved on from his cancelled wedding to cricketer Smriti Mandhana, and is now back in the director's chair for a new film. The movie will feature actor Shreyas Talpade in the lead role, marking Palaash's third directorial venture. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will be set against the backdrop of Mumbai, with Shreyas playing a common man. Filming is expected to commence soon. Palaash has previously directed several music videos and films, including Ardh and Kaam Chalu Hai. He has also written for his films. His latest project will see him reunite with actor Rajpal Yadav, who appeared in his previous films. Shreyas Talpade, known for his roles in films like Azad Bharath, will be the star of this new film. The cancelled wedding between Palaash and Smriti Mandhana made headlines last year. The couple had been dating for five years and were set to tie the knot in November. However, the wedding was indefinitely postponed due to Smriti's father being hospitalised. Later, reports emerged of Palaash being hospitalised as well, and then allegations of infidelity on their Sangeet night surfaced. Despite the controversy, Palaash has bounced back and is now focused on his new film project.
