The Producers Guild of America has unveiled its top prize nominees, the Darryl F. Zanuck Award, which closely mirrors the picks of both actors and directors guilds. Among the 10 contenders are Warner Bros.' 'One Battle After Another,' 'Sinners,' and the Formula One racing film 'F1.' Horror hit 'Weapons' and family drama 'Frankenstein' also made the cut, while big-budget spectacles 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' and 'Wicked: For Good' were left out. The guild's nomination history suggests that the winner of the Zanuck award often goes on to win the best picture Oscar. In the past 22 years, the award has been a reliable predictor of the Academy's top prize, with 17 wins out of 22 attempts. The Producers Guild will also honor television shows and movies in various categories, including 'Andor' and 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' The 37th annual Producers Guild Awards will take place on February 28 in Los Angeles.
