Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has stunned the box office once again, defying the trend of a typical second weekend. The spy thriller has maintained its momentum, with no significant dip in collections even on a Tuesday. This has enabled the film to reach the ₹400 crore mark in record time, a feat that only a handful of Bollywood films have achieved. The film's second weekend collections were a record-breaker, with ₹140 crore in net profits in India. It continued to perform well on Monday, adding ₹30.50 crore to its total. The trend continued on Tuesday, with an estimated ₹30 crore net added, taking the domestic earnings to a staggering ₹411 crore net. What's remarkable is that Dhurandhar's occupancy rates were higher on Tuesday than on Monday, indicating a strong word-of-mouth and sustained public interest. If this trend continues, the film may even reach the ₹500 crore mark before its third weekend. Dhurandhar has now joined an elite group of films that have reached the ₹400 crore mark, surpassing Dangal's record of ₹387 crore that stood for over 6 years. It has also overtaken Prabhas' Salaar and Rajinikanth's 2.0 in terms of domestic earnings. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as an Indian spy infiltrating the gangs of Pakistan's Lyari. The film also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in key roles. A sequel to the film is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.
