Ranveer Singh's highly anticipated film Dhurandhar has been making waves at the box office since its release on December 5. The action spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has shattered records and emerged as one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema. Despite a slowdown in its fifth week, the film continues to draw audiences in theatres. According to the latest report from Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned ₹4.25 crore on its 35th day of release, bringing its total collection to ₹790.25 crore. The film's performance has been remarkable, with a record 28 consecutive days of double-digit earnings. In its first week, Dhurandhar collected ₹207.25 crore, followed by ₹253.25 crore in the second week. The third and fourth weeks saw the film earn ₹172 crore and ₹106.5 crore, respectively. Dhurandhar's success can be attributed to its gripping storyline, which revolves around covert intelligence operations set against a backdrop of significant geopolitical and terror events. The film's sequel, Dhurandhar 2, is scheduled to release on March 19 next year and is expected to be a grand Eid, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi 2026 release in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film's producers, Jio Studios and B62 Studios, have expressed their excitement about the film's performance and are looking forward to the release of Dhurandhar 2.
