Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar continues to defy expectations, registering its lowest-ever single-day collection in its fifth week but still managing to climb another milestone. The film has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, which grossed ₹1160 crore worldwide in 2023. In its 29th day, Dhurandhar earned ₹8.75 crore net domestically, taking its total to ₹747.75 crore (₹897.3 crore gross). The Aditya Dhar film has also performed exceptionally well overseas, raking in nearly $30 million. Notably, it has made a historic run in the United States, earning over $18 million. Despite being banned in most Gulf countries, Dhurandhar's overseas earnings stand out. With a worldwide gross of ₹1167 crore after 29 days, Dhurandhar has now become the sixth-highest-grossing Indian film ever, ranking below Dangal, Baahubali 2, Pushpa 2, RRR, and KGF Chapter 2. To reach the ₹1200 crore mark and potentially overtake KGF 2 (₹1215 crore) and RRR (₹1230 crore), Dhurandhar will need a strong fifth weekend. While finishing in the top 4 highest-grossing Indian films is within its reach, surpassing the top 3 films, which have earned over ₹1700 crore, seems unlikely. Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer as Hamza, an Indian operative infiltrating Karachi's gang and terror networks. The spy thriller also features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan in key roles. The film's sequel is slated for release in March 2026.
