The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has escalated its stand against actor Ranveer Singh after his sudden exit from Don 3, sparking a fresh turmoil in the film industry.
FWICE chief advisor Ashoke Pandit revealed that the federation made three attempts to get in touch with Ranveer to resolve the issue behind closed doors, but the actor chose not to attend.
Pandit recalled making several attempts to contact Ranveer in the hope of resolving the dispute amicably, but the actor remained unresponsive.
Ranveer's spokesperson had earlier issued a statement addressing the dispute, stating that the actor holds the highest regard for the film fraternity and has chosen to maintain silence, believing that professional discussions and personal equations are best handled with dignity, maturity, and mutual respect.
The feud began when Ranveer walked out of Don 3 after the success of his film Dhurandhar, with reports suggesting that he had caused monetary losses amounting to ₹45 crore to the film's producer, Farhan Akhtar.
