Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has spoken out about the departure of head coach John Harbaugh, admitting he was shocked by the decision.
Speaking at Ravens OTAs, Jackson expressed his respect for Harbaugh, who spent 18 years with the franchise, and acknowledged that the news caught him off guard.
Despite his surprise, Jackson understands why Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti made the move, saying 'I feel like Mr. Steve did what was best for the team.'
Jackson also reflected on the impact Harbaugh had on the organization and the city, saying 'Hats off to Coach because we did so much for the city, for the team, for this organization.'
The quarterback reaffirmed his commitment to the Ravens, saying 'I love the Ravens. I love this organization. I love this city.'
Jackson is now preparing for a new chapter under head coach Jesse Minter, who previously served on Harbaugh's coaching staff.
