Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has concluded on a high note with TV actor Gaurav Khanna emerging as the winner. The reality show's finale week shattered records on OTT, attracting an impressive 8 million viewers per week. According to Ormax reports, Bigg Boss 19 averaged 7.5-8 million viewers per week, making it the most-watched non-fiction show on OTT. The show's dominance continued during its finale week, which spanned from December 1 to 7, drawing in 7.2 million viewers. This impressive viewership surpassed other popular shows like Laughter Chefs 3, Indian Idol 16, Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, and Bigg Boss Tamil 9, which had significantly lower viewership numbers ranging from 4.3 to 1.2 million. The show's success can be attributed to its engaging content and the participation of popular celebrities. Bigg Boss 19, produced by EndemolShine India, was broadcast on Colors TV and streamed on JioHotstar. In an exclusive interview with PTI, Gaurav Khanna expressed his gratitude and surprise at winning the show. He credited his authenticity and consistency throughout the season, stating, "I didn't change a bit. I am the same when I went inside the house and came out, and people like that." The show kicked off on August 24, and Gaurav's victory marked the culmination of an exciting 16-week journey.
