Sushant Singh Rajput's death on June 14, 2020, was met with widespread shock and sadness. After a lengthy investigation, authorities concluded that his death was a suicide. The case led to the arrest of his girlfriend, actor Rhea Chakraborty, and her brother Showik Chakraborty in connection with drug-related cases. However, subsequent probes by multiple agencies did not result in any convictions, and the matter was eventually closed after an extensive investigation.
