Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor has unveiled the intense first look from his upcoming film O Romeo, a modern and dark reimagining of Shakespeare's timeless classic Romeo and Juliet. The film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, is set to release in theaters on February 13. The striking poster, shared by Shahid on social media, showcases the actor in a fierce and blood-soaked avatar, hinting at a dark and emotionally charged narrative. The film's trailer is set to drop on January 10, 2026. O Romeo marks the latest collaboration between Shahid and Vishal, a duo known for delivering powerful and unconventional cinema. Their previous films, such as Kaminey (2009) and Haider (2014), have showcased Shahid in some of his most celebrated performances. The film, presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, features Triptii Dimri as the female lead and promises a blend of stylised violence, poetic storytelling, and haunting music.
